It’s Saturday!!! (Finally)

Image
No more school for the week means… working on my latest Breyer projects! This morning I made some little feed tubs.  Firefly really likes them. REALLY likes them! I think you ate it all … Firefly!!! Started on Huckleberry’s halter It’s not super good but it works. It’s not finished yet, but I’m getting close! I do love the color combo though. And I also rode this afternoon. I don’t have any pictures of the actual ride yet, but once I do I’ll post them. But I took some adorable horse pictures! Austin was napping in his stall and I couldn’t get enough! So sweet! After our ride, Dyno was begging for his grain And after dinner some deer decided to pay a visit  They are both boys growing some little antlers  They are mirror images of each other! Well, that sums up my Saturday. I’m hoping to have an equally productive day tomorrow!

Busy Breyer Day

Today was a very good day for getting stuff done!!! The first thing I did when I got home from work was grabbing Ballynoe and taking some pictures.  I love taking pictures with him! He’s just so perfect for it! I took a few showing off his new halter Ignore the lead rope dangling precariously close to his hooves😳 (major hazard!)😶 More beautiful Ballynoe! Run from the giant chickens!!!!😂 I really like this one! I spent almost a hour editing it so there could be some dirt! I also finished Alabasters halter!!! So cute! Matching lead rope of course  He is so stinking ADORABLE  I seriously think that Breyer made this mold to torture people with cuteness! No joke!  And last but not least, my Breyer hayloft has been remodeled! Lots of Breyerfest stuff!!! I sadly will not be attending this year 😔. But to all those who are going, either in person or online, … have fun and if possible say hello to Adamek for me!(he’s my absolute favorite Breyer model) And by the way, the Breyerfest set is f

Animal Invasion!

We live on a good-sized property. 1.6 acres of land backed by more than 5 acres of town land. And on the other side of the street is a pond and a bunch of hiking trails. So you would expect some animals passing by, right?  We have the occasional deer, a few turkeys, countless birds, possibly a moose(that’s still up to debate) and some coyotes pass through every now and then. But lately… Two snakes have decided that our shed is a good place to live. By the way, these snakes are over four feet long. I usually don’t have anything against snakes, in fact, I think they’re cute. But being bit by one of those… not exactly on my list of things to do. And now a groundhog!?! This little guy is adorable, but what about our garden???? And when you have animals, prepare to see a bunch of holes. We thought something was digging into our chicken coop, but it turns out that my chicken, June, was digging out! She hates being coop ed   up(see what I did there) ;) So I guess she decided to break out. Lu

Dollar Store Loot

Image
Yesterday I made a trip to the dollar store. Luckily, they had pretty much everything I needed.  A bowl for my next big project… Hot glue sticks  You can never have too many jump rings! I got some chord And they finally had these chests!!! They’ve been out for almost a year! Tack boxes, here I come! A poster for photography. (Now I just need the perfect rock…) Paper clips(for hoof picks of course) Lots of popsicle sticks  And a cork board. Now to create everything!
