Painting Party!


Sorry I haven’t written anything recently! I’ve been in a bit of a slump… but I’m out of it now! And have been in the mood to paint so that’s what I did today.



I have a few things to paint and got most of them done today. The first thing I got done was a headless horse  horseless head. It is going to be a bronze bust to go on a piece of wood to be a trophy.


That wasn’t a finished picture, I’ll post the finished piece tomorrow. The second thing I painted was a little horse and a wooden block to turn into another trophy. Again, this isn’t the finished product. I’ll post that tomorrow. 



And then for the big project of the day: the stablemate unicorns I got for Christmas. 



I decided on the color and then got to painting.




And here are the finished unicorns:



The adult is Caspian.




And the foal is Elska. 



And there you have it! Tomorrow is the dappled gray mare! I’ll post again tomorrow.

Braymere Box

 Today I got my long awaited package from   braymere  custom saddlery!!!!!! And I had no idea which horses are going to be in it, so I was super excited when I saw the unmistakable shape and color of …                        Ballynoe Castle RM!!!!!                           I have always loved this mold, and Ballynoe is probably my favorite on it, so, eeeee!!!! And my next surprise horse was to be none other than… Huckleberry Bey! It took me forever to get all the dust off of him, but was definitely worth it! He is gorgeous! The next surprise horse was a total surprise!  I’ve never been a huge fan of this mold, but seeing it in person definitely helped. His color is lovely, and his little star suits him perfectly! The Harness

 My biggest project at the moment is completing this harness.  It’s pretty much done, but needs a few minor adjustments. It’s not even close to being LSQ but considering all I had for materials were: ribbon, wire, and crappy faux leather from the dollar tree, I think it looks pretty good!
