Red White and Blue


I guess you could say that I’ve been in a patriotic mood lately. It didn’t start out like this! In fact, it started when I was making some bracelets with those clay beads that seem to be becoming increasingly popular.
These were some of the ones I made. 


Then today I made Totilas the Netherlands 🇳🇱 colored lead rope I had on my to-do list. And then I thought “oh wow, I could make more of these and sell them…” and that turned into another thing with tassels:
Now I have this whole costume thing planned, and a horse that looks like this:
Now I have a horse ready for a Fourth of July parade!!
Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this!!!

Tutorial: how to make Breyer bulletin boards

Today I have a tutorial planned. I’ve actually been planning this for a while but after a printer problem, among other things, has postponed it. But it’s here today! It’s pretty easy to make, but if you have any questions please let me know! Supplies: Thin cork-board (I get mine from the dollar store) Popsicle sticks (you can use any size) Glue (I use hot glue but Tacky glue works just as well) Magazine or computer and printer  Nail file Scissors Optional: small chain Optional: marker  Step 1:   Cut a piece of cork board into a small rectangle. I usually cut it 3 inches by 2 inches but you can do whatever size works for you. Step 2:   Take one of your popsicle sticks and cut it in half the long way. Don’t worry if it’s not straight. You will fix this in the next step. Step 3: Take one of the pieces of popsicle stick you just cut. Use the scissors to cut it some more and/or use the nail file to sand it down to the size you want. It’s Saturday!!! (Finally)

 No more school for the week means… working on my latest Breyer projects! This morning I made some little feed tubs.  Firefly really likes them. REALLY likes them! I think you ate it all … Firefly!!! Started on Huckleberry’s halter It’s not super good but it works. It’s not finished yet, but I’m getting close! I do love the color combo though. And I also rode this afternoon. I don’t have any pictures of the actual ride yet, but once I do I’ll post them. But I took some adorable horse pictures! Austin was napping in his stall and I couldn’t get enough! So sweet! After our ride, Dyno was begging for his grain And after dinner some deer decided to pay a visit  They are both boys growing some little antlers  They are mirror images of each other! Well, that sums up my Saturday. I’m hoping to have an equally productive day tomorrow!

Tour Of The Barn (part 2)

 Now for the tack room… Ta da! I copied some of the design from Nichelle Jones of Desktop Stables. I HIGHLY recommend her website! She has everything from printables to tutorials and tips. Here is the shelf, which I know, needs a lot of work! And here is one of my favorite pieces! The grooming tote!  And the saddle racks, which I am selling on my Etsy shop. Again, another Desktop Stables tutorial! And well, let’s just say that the English pad is a bit of a work in progress kind of thing.🫤 And here is the last pic.
