Now for the tack room… Ta da! I copied some of the design from Nichelle Jones of Desktop Stables. I HIGHLY recommend her website! She has everything from printables to tutorials and tips. I visit her website for inspiration regularly. You can check it out here: https://desktopstables.com/ Here are my bridle racks, which I got from a tutorial on Desktop Stables. Super simple! Here is the shelf, which I know, needs a lot of work! And here is one of my favorite pieces! The grooming tote! And the saddle racks, which I am selling on my Etsy shop. Again, another Desktop Stables tutorial! And well, let’s just say that the English pad is a bit of a work in progress kind of thing.🫤 And here is the last pic. The bulletin board is super easy to make! I will probably do a tutorial on that this week. And the calendar is the wrong year but does that really matter??? Anyway, most of the stuff I showed you is listed or will be listed in my Etsy store! You can see it here: https://www...
Today I got my long awaited package from braymere custom saddlery!!!!!! And I had no idea which horses are going to be in it, so I was super excited when I saw the unmistakable shape and color of … Ballynoe Castle RM!!!!! I have always loved this mold, and Ballynoe is probably my favorite on it, so, eeeee!!!! And my next surprise horse was to be none other than… Huckleberry Bey! It took me forever to get all the dust off of him, but was definitely worth it! He is gorgeous! The next surprise horse was a total surprise! I’ve never been a huge fan of this mold, but seeing it in person definitely helped. His color is lovely, and his little star suits him perfectly! He is even signed by Peter Stone. (If I’m not mistaken, that’s the guy who owns/created Stone Horses right???) The next to be unwrap...
My biggest project at the moment is completing this harness. It’s pretty much done, but needs a few minor adjustments. It’s not even close to being LSQ but considering all I had for materials were: ribbon, wire, and crappy faux leather from the dollar tree, I think it looks pretty good! I used these tutorials by Lisa Sharpe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYuCgmgqBGU (Harness Part 1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC51oc6hsg8 (Harness Part 2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54Ll5m6rsXk (Harness Part 3) Even though her tutorials are for a driving harness, I figured that I could make adjustments as I went along and it didn’t have to be exact. I’m not showing it or anything, and, really, it’s just a practice harness until I have the proper materials to make a ...
